As you may have noticed, my name is Jeff Willener. I’m a Developer and IT Consultant; both peppered with a pinch of Entrepreneur. I work out of my home office in Colorado Springs, CO for Managed Business Solutions (MBS) as a Senior Software Developer and Architect. I should add this blog, its content and opinions are my own. I work and play in so many areas that I feel it’s time to blog about those related to technology, code, databases, networking SaaS sites and tools to only name a few.

Where have I been...
Before MBS I made my living contracting short term development projects for 1+ years. Perhaps that’s where I fell in love with consulting. Before free lancing, I worked one year at Global Nutrition Sciences (GNS) online nutrition supplements company as the Directory of IT. Before that at Frontier Airlines for three years as a Senior Software Developer overseeing a suite of applications that transferred near real-time data in and out of Frontiers operational servers. Finally the last company worth noting is my five years at Quantum Corporation. Quantum was my last position in hardware as a Systems Engineer and Software Developer writing and documenting all SDLT tape drivers in a variety of Operating Systems. Much of my support documentation can still be found on Quantum’s site. You could say I got out of hardware because I love tangible results. There’s little to no glory is saying you can make a servo move.
